The Power of Precision

PCL’s ceramic sensor sets our gauge apart from the rest, but how does it make a difference in the lifetime and quality of our gauges?

Pressure gauges typically are constructed with one of two types of sensors: a stainless steel sensor or a ceramic sensor. When placed in an extreme condition, such as high pressures, ceramic sensors perform better than stainless.

Ceramic pressure sensors have greater strength and durability. Compared to stainless, ceramic sensors are:

  • up to 10x stronger and more durable, which means they take more abuse and last longer.
  • chemically inert, meaning they are resistant to corrosion and chemicals.
  • environmentally friendly since they usually do not contain oil like their stainless counterparts.
  • able to withstand greater pressure and temperatures than stainless, with an ability to read pressures more accurately.

So what does all of this mean for you?

It means that with all of PCL’s inflation products, you’re getting a high-end product that won’t quit, is crazy accurate, and is made to last! Our pressure gauges are a must-have in all garages and shops! For questions or to build out your inflation product, send us an email to sales@pcltireinflationusa.com!
