When to use a straight chuck?

PCL’s line of Pro-Connect chucks come in two types: angled and straight. Today we want to talk about when to use straight chucks.

The best applications for straight chucks are:

• motorcycle tires
• bicycle tires
• easy-to-reach car tires

Basically, a straight chuck is beneficial when it’s easy to access the valve stem. If you can easily reach your hand in and connect to the stem, then you really only need a straight chuck. For even easier connection, PCL offers our chucks in a barbed end or a threaded end. Just let us know which you need for your gauges!
