MK4 Operating Temperatures

Now that the temperatures are getting colder and inclement weather is upon us, it’s important to discuss the optimal operating temperatures for your PCL tools!

For the ACCURA MK4, the best operating temperatures are from 5°F to 131°F. Lower than 5°F, you may start to experience tool failures, including your LCD screen not functioning properly or your handle freezing. Extended exposure to extreme temperatures may damage your gauge. Prevent damage to your gauge by checking your tires in a covered place (such as your garage), and keep your tools stored in a place where they won’t be subjected to extreme temperatures.
