PCL’s Lasting Legacy

Happy Birthday!

Today is PCL’s birthday! PCL was found June 25, 1938 in Sheffield, England by Henry Turner and Thomas Brown. In 1939, when World War I broke out, PCL began supplying air components to the Air Ministry.

PCL’s air gauges and other components were so accurate at the time, that the aeronautical inspection department rejected only 0.01% of the components made by PCL. Because of this, in 1943 during World War II, PCL was given a contract with the Ministry of Supply and had orders placed from the Army Vehicle Manufacturers, and our exceptional quality has endured ever since!

If the quote “age is the price of wisdom” holds any truth, then we’ve truly achieved enlightenment! Our gauges, inflators, nitrogen machines, air tools, and other products continue to evolve but maintain the thing that we fight for the most: accuracy. We stand behind our products and we looks forward to many more years of providing you with a tool you find not only useful but also are proud to use!
